½ cup tomato sauce or puree

Instructions

Brown the Beef
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook for 3–5 minutes, breaking it into crumbles as it browns. -
Add Ingredients
Stir in broth, tomato sauce, chili powder, cocoa powder, Worcestershire sauce, chili flakes, paprika, soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well. -
Simmer
Bring to a gentle simmer, reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 35–40 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. -
