This Seafood Lasagna combines tender shrimp, sweet crab, creamy cheese, and rich white sauce for a luxurious dinner. It’s perfect for holidays, special occasions, or when you want to impress family and friends.

Ingredients

For the Seafood Mixture:

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped

  • 1 pound lump crab meat (fresh or canned, drained)

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Sauce:

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour

  • 4 cups whole milk, warmed

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Other Ingredients:

  • 9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained

  • 2 cups ricotta cheese

  • 1 egg

  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Cook the Seafood

  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.

  • Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  • Stir in shrimp and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until pink.

  • Add crab meat and Old Bay seasoning. Stir well and remove from heat.

2. Make the White Sauce

  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

  • Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute to form a roux.

  • Slowly whisk in warm milk and heavy cream until smooth.

  • Add Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Simmer for 5 to 7 minutes until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat.

3. Prepare Ricotta Mixture

  • In a small bowl, mix ricotta cheese with the egg and a pinch of salt. Set aside.

4. Assemble the Lasagna

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • Place 3 cooked lasagna noodles on top.

  • Spread half of the ricotta mixture, half of the seafood, and ⅓ of the sauce.

  • Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

  • Repeat layers, ending with noodles, sauce, and mozzarella on top.

  • Finish with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.

5. Bake

  • Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

  • Remove foil and bake another 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.

  • Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

  • Make Ahead: Assemble up to 24 hours in advance and refrigerate until baking.
