Instructions
-
Prepare the Mixture – In a medium bowl, combine salmon, crackers, onion, egg, parsley, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
-
Shape the Patties – Form the mixture into small patties (about 6–8, depending on size). If desired, coat lightly in additional crushed crackers for extra crunch.
-
Heat the Oil – Pour enough vegetable oil into a skillet to cover the bottom. Heat over medium until shimmering.
-
Fry the Patties – Place patties in the skillet and cook 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
-
Serve & Enjoy – Serve warm with lemon wedges and a dash of hot sauce.

-
Make-Ahead Friendly – Form patties ahead of time and refrigerate up to 24 hours before frying.
-
Lighter Option – Bake patties at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway through.
